On our first ever trip away in Hans, we joined up to Historic Scotland at Tantallon Castle and enjoyed an amazing year visiting castles and houses all over Scotland. We knew we would miss it after it ran out, but we thought we'd give the National Trust for Scotland a try for a change. While that was great value, especially as it gave us access to lots of places in Devon and Cornwall for free too, we've always felt that HS was more our style.
So last month, we joined up again. First on the list was Dumbarton Castle (it's just down the road) and next up was Stanley Mill on the way home from Pitlochry. This Easter, we decided to take a chance on the weather and booked three nights at Milton of Fonab Caravan Park outside Pitlochry. Unfortunately it ended up a bit wet and windy but we made the most of it anyway.
On Friday, Tommy and I left the girls in the capable hands of Granny and Papa whilst we headed down to Ullswater in the Lake District for the event of the year - the Classic Hymers Micro Meet.
