Not bad for a free spot! We spent the weekend in Burntisland, enjoying some summer sunshine. This is a popular wild camping spot with motorhome owners and I can see why. One of the major draws was the huge summer fair, which parks up here each summer and draws in huge crowds. Despite their rapidly advancing teenage years, our girls are still simple wee souls and their first request was the helter skelter. They had a go on one of the bigger rides and quickly decided not to do that again - the rest of their money was spent on the fun houses and winning husky toys. We also went swimming a few times in the Beacon Leisure Centre, which we were parked right beside. It saved on shower water and gave the girls a bit of fun as it has a wave machine and a few flumes. Tommy took an explore on his bike and found some lovely places to photo. We spent 3 nights in total, and it felt like a week. Roll on our proper summer tour - not long now! The east coast of Scotland is always a good place to visit.
