We left Scarborough en route to Flamingo Land, with a quick stop at Morrisons for fuel and a food shop. Well, it was supposed to be a quick stop, but then this happened... Tommy had run back into the shop to get some bin bags and I was putting the shopping away when there was an almighty bang and Bodhi shook so hard that the girls and I fell over. I knew straight away we'd been hit by something and my heart sank. It turned out that the van's driver had neglected to put the handbrake on or leave it in gear, so it rolled backwards across the car park and right into our front bumper. To say we're gutted is an understatement. Tommy has spent so much time, effort and money getting Bodhi spick and span and all it took to spoil it was this moment of forgetfulness. Thankfully, neither the girls nor I weren't badly injured and we're able to continue with our holiday. We could really have done without the 3 hours plus spent on the phone dealing with the insurance and the hassle of getting the repairs done but we're just grateful that it wasn't any worse. Poor Bodhi looks a bit sad at the moment, however we'll get him sorted and looking good again. Thanks to everyone for their messages and support. We really appreciate it.
